Overview:

SelvaRey is an award-winning premium rum and the first white and flavored rum fine enough to sip on the rocks. Pronounced Sel-Va-Rey, the brand name "translates loosely from Spanish to 'king of the jungle' (Selva-Rey)" and "is a nod to Fernandez carving his distillery and sugarcane fields out of the Panamanian wilderness, with the label's gorilla signifying jungles

Objective:

To create a custom T-shirt design for a contest where the winners would get an opportunity to join Bruno Mars at VIP lounge before  show 24k Magic show. The client was seeking for a different representation of the brand going beond the brand guidelines.

Branding strategy:

Driven by the "tropical" imagery and Bruno Mars's personal style the focus was to make corporate merchandise playful and appealing for both men and women between 19 to 25 years old.
